Soft Diffused Light | Week 1
For the month of May our group will be studying soft diffused light. Diffused lighting is described as soft light with neither the intensity nor the glare of directional light. It seems to wrap around the subject and does not cast harsh shadows.I will be upfront and say these images are not good examples of soft diffused light, especially the second one, since it was taken in full afternoon sun.........But I'm sharing them anyway because it sums up the past week. Plus, it is the month of May, also known as our "month of madness". Between my husband's job and three kids, the end of school year events leave us coming and going, leaving me to feel like a piece of taffy being pulled in all directions. On top of the typical May madness, our oldest is graduating high school a year early so college preparations are being done at what feels like turbo speed. We spent the last weekend touring the A&M campus finalizing details and touring different housing options. It is exciting & overwhelming all at the same time. These were impromptu snapshots taken while on campus......so I leave you with our future Aggie and the promise to meet our topic objectives better in the following weeks! :)
