Project Light: Holiday Edition (Week 3)

One of my favorite holiday traditions is to gather everyone up in the car and go drive around looking at Christmas lights.   This year we began at Up In Lights and then went on to drive through some local neighborhoods.  Even though my children aren't little anymore there is still something quite magical about listening to Christmas songs, singing together, laughing together, oohing and ahhing over the elaborate displays, and most importantly, just slowing down and sharing time together.  With the recent events of this week, it made me all the more grateful for time with my family building memories while sharing such simple things together.

Please continue through the circle to see the other interpretations of this month's theme.  Next is Jill Cassara, whose style I adore.  If you are new to the site, please visit the archives here.
