Personal Project | Photography

Initially my desire for better photography began in 2001 with the birth of my 3rd child.  Like many moms, I scrap-booked and naturally I wanted to have better photos grace my scrapbook pages.  I read articles online, purchased a few books, but had a hard time putting it in to real life application and I never  achieved what I desired.  Life seemed to turn upside down in 2003 when my son was diagnosed on the autistic spectrum.  Photography then was pushed to the background.  Research of how to help my son took precedence over my hobby.Fast forward to 2012.  With two teenage girls and a son who is now ten, life inevitably seems to be going by me all too quickly.  So I actually made a New Year's resolution for 2012; I wanted to learn how to operate my camera with manual settings.  I enrolled in an online photography class and met a group of extremely talented women.  You will get to meet them here through a weekly blog project that I have committed to participating in.   I'm eagerly anticipating where this will take us and I'm looking forward to the challenge it brings.  So, come take the journey with me...
