Thank you for visiting Kim DuPree Photography.  I am an individually owned business and all opinions expressed on this website and affiliated social media are my own.  All images are copyright protected and property of KDP unless otherwise noted.  Should you wish to use my content, please contact me directly and provide quotes, credit and direct links to the original material.

 Some of the links on my site are affiliate links, meaning that should you make a purchase after visiting a link, I receive a small commission which does not impact your purchase or cost you an additional amount.  This helps me with website hosting, image gallery hosting and other administrative costs I incur on a monthly basis.

KDP strongly believes in keeping your personal information confidential.  Should you choose to share any personal information within my website, I will never sell, or share your information including your name & email address with any other business or organization.  This information provided is only used to provide my services efficiently.

SERVICE TERMS & CONDITIONS

A non-refundable retainer fee of $100 is due at time of booking to secure your session date, as well as full acceptance of the terms and conditions as published on KDP’s website.  The remaining balance is due the date of your session.

If you cancel or fail to attend your session on the scheduled date and time, your retainer is forfeited and will not be applied to another session.  Should you need to reschedule you must notify me at least 48 hours prior to your scheduled date for the session to be transferred to a mutually agreeable date and time. 

 I reserve the right to reschedule due to personal illness, weather, equipment malfunction, acts of God or other circumstances beyond my control.  Should I have to cancel, and rescheduling is not possible, your fee will be refunded in full. 

MODEL & LIABILITY RELEASE

The bearer of this notice grants KDP the right to use images taken at your photography session/event to promote its service including portfolio, website, display, samples, advertising and editorial use.  If you prefer not to have your photos shared on the blog/website, please notify KDP by email. 

Photographer is not responsible for any injuries to any involved parties.  Any directions issued to clients and dependents during a photo session are deemed to be at said person’s own risk.  KDP cannot be held responsible for any personal accidents during a photographic shoot.

PORTRAIT SESSION TERMS & CONDITIONS

Retouching is included with your portrait session including light skin retouch, light and color adjustments.  KDP reserves the right to modify images for artistic purposes to ensure quality of the images.  However, KDP is unable to replace parts of the body from another image, swap backgrounds, make you appear younger, thinner, or change clothes.  KDP cannot guarantee image results due to circumstances beyond my control, including but not limited to: weather related issues, including sunlight, cloud cover, wind etc. or client’s appearance, unhappy or sick participants, etc.  After delivery, KDP reserves the right to refuse any additional edit requests.  If client wishes to request additional retouching of images, it may be done at a separate fee beginning at $35 per image.

 KDP archives photos for up to three months after the photography session and is not liable for any claims after this period.  All client files will be deleted, and backups will be purged after this period.  It is the client’s responsibility to backup images and properly store prints. 

 KDP owns the copyright to all images created during the portrait session.  Reproduction, copying, scanning, selling, or altering images without my permission is illegal.  Should you share your photographs on social media, you are asked to tag KDP.  A print release will be provided with digital purchase for personal use. 

 No cameras or filming are allowed during the session unless prior arrangement has been made between client and KDP.  Please do not bring children not being photographed to the session.

 KDP is not responsible for prints made outside the studio’s print lab.  Should you decide to print photos yourself, KDP recommends that you print your photos at mpix.com.  This lab offers high quality, professional printing at an affordable price.  Prints are only guaranteed if purchased directly through KDP.

 REFUND POLICY FOR SERVICES PROVIDED

Print sales are final, however, if your photographs arrive damaged, please notify KDP within 48 hours. KDP requests that client provides photographs of the damaged items and shipping containers in order to rectify the situation and provide replacement.

All sales on services are final.  Digital products such as images which are downloadable are not eligible for return.
