My youngest daughter was planning a long weekend trip to Arkansas during some of her husband’s time off. After some conversation discussing where to visit in Arkansas, it somehow turned into a whole family affair. We secured a beautiful home on Lake Hamilton through Airbnb large enough for the whole family, including our kids, parents, and brother. Traveling with three small children we planned some low-key events and had a great time just hanging out with the family playing games, and eating well with a few excursions mixed in.

Our first excursion was the beautiful Garvan Woodland Gardens.

I did not take as many photos. For this trip, I vowed to be present in the moment and enjoy the sweet moments with our family. We enjoyed touring downtown Hot Springs, doing a few light hikes and visited a local park for a picnic.
