Point Dume - Caleb’s favorite spot

Our son, Caleb had an opportunity to work and live outside of the Los Angeles area for five months. Every time we talked with him, he encouraged us to visit, especially since I had never been to the state of California.

In early September, we spontaneously decided to fly out to see him in mid-October giving us only about a month to plan a whirlwind trip to see the various sights of California before returning home to Texas. What a memorable trip it was! The sights and weather were gorgeous!

Caleb’s choice for our first-morning outing was without question Point Dume in Malibu. It is one of Caleb’s favorite places and I can understand why! The clear blue waters, golden sand, and rugged cliffs were breathtaking!
