Project Light | Artificial Light

During the month of March our blog circle will be exploring artificial lighting.  This puts me a bit ouf of my comfort zone I admit.  Artificial lighting is any light source that is not from the sun, whether it is camera flash, tungsten light,  or any man-made light.  We recently traveled to Galveston to my daughter's drill team competition.  Imagine my delight when we arrived at our hotel room and I pulled back the curtain to find a glorious night view of the skyline and the hotel pool.  I was so excited it wasn't the typical view of the HVAC system and knew it would be perfect for this week's post.  I also played with manual focus for some out of focus shots with the bottom right image and while doing so I was able to capture some light trails. Please continue around the blog circle beginning with my very talented friend, Stacey Vukelj who recently wrote a fantastic breakout session about street photography available for purchase HERE.  If you are new here and want to learn more about my participation in project light you can visit here or here.
